Established in 1993 AV specialises in community, conservation, sports coaching and teaching volunteer projects in Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda; China, India, Nepal, Thailand; and Ecuador,and Mexico. We offer group based community projects from 3 to 5 months, including induction course on arrival, one term in a community/school environment to integrate into the community whilst living independently in groups of 2 to 4. There is also designated travel time and an invisible safety net of support throughout…join us on a journey for life!
All of our programmes encourage independence and the opportunity to develop skills. By spending one term (minimum 2 months) in a school environment you will get the chance to integrate into the community and understand rural villages in the developing world. The perfect experience to have under your belt for 4 weeks of independent travel at the end of the project.
